Internet traffic analysis with Mikrotik Torch
Your internet was very slow when used? The first question may be how the hell the internet connection speed that I get to feel slow. The next step taken is to measure the speed of internet connection in our place with some of the existing tools on the Internet. Do not rush to blame your ISP if this incident happened, the first step is to self-check on our network. Maybe this way is quite simple, but very important to analyze the events in our internet network.
How to do it? If we use the Mikrotik Gateway Network then there are tools that have been provided to analyze traffic passing the Torch. Torch is a Real Time traffic monitor that is used to analyze the flow of traffic passing by on an interface (ethernet, wireless, vlan, etc.). On linux systems may be equated with tcpdump. By Using Torch, Menu Tools -> Torch can analyze any traffic that passed and how much. Having identified and analyzed the causes of the problem for the next follow-up. Analysis steps as follows:
1. Menu Tool -> Torch

2. Select Interface, in this instance a WLAN (Hotspot Assumption).

3. Select Interface, in this instance an ethernet (Network with Cable Assumption)
